Raising a family in the same city where he was born and raised β Phoenix
Meet Matt
Iβm a Phoenix native, with three children, and want nothing more than to raise them here, in the city we love. Iβm a software engineer and occasional Uber driver, and I was inspired to fight for our city after witnessing the homelessness crisis firsthand.
But the more I looked, the more I realized that Phoenix isnβt just struggling with homelessness. Our city has been mismanaged across the board β from overspending, to rising emergency response times, to understaffed police, failing schools, and declining public safety. Over time, the people lost their power, and more importantly, their representation. City Hall stopped listening.
Iβm here to make sure that we the people are in control. As a precinct committeeman in LD2, not only am I fighting to give North Phoenix residents, but Iβm fighting to give all of Phoenix a real voice and true representation in our city government.
What I Stand For
βΊ Tackling Homelessness
Solutions that show compassion but deliver real results.
π Safer Neighborhoods
Standing with law enforcement and demanding accountability for crime
π° Lower Taxes
Restoring fiscal responsibility so every dollar is respected.
π Accountabilty
Transparency so government works for residents, not special interests.
2026 Is Our Chance
In 2026, four of the eight Phoenix City Council seats are up for election:
District 2
District 4
District 6
District 8
Take Back Phoenix (TBP) is a team of regular people standing up to save their city - running for each of the open city council seats.
A new majority on the City Council means real power back in the hands of the people. It means rethinking our cityβs future, correcting course, and finally seeing real change on our streets β not promises.
